Hi I'm Becky Comery. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1999. I have worked with children, teens and adults in school-based, home-based, inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. I opened BC Wellness Inc. in 2022. I am dedicated to supporting individuals with managing stress, anxiety, trauma and depression.
Crystal (she/her) has a master's degree in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. She also has degrees in Psychology, Thanatology, and Criminal Justice. Crystal is currently pursuing independent licensures as both a Licensed Addiction Drug and Alcohol counselor (LADC 1), as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Professionally, Crystal has a background in working with clients throughout the lifespan and has worked in various settings. Crystal began her professional journey working with adolescents in a group home setting, moving then into a community-based outreach program supporting youth and their families, before transitioning to work with children in the school counseling environment. Recently, Crystal has spent several years working, in various capacities, with individuals who have substance use disorders as well as co-occurring mental health issues. She has facilitated group counseling sessions, as well as individual counseling.
Crystal also works as an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Crystal utilizes a holistic, person-centered approach to meet clients where they are.
CRYSTAL CORREIRA, CAGS, MA
Having worked professionally in the field of mental health as a Therapist, Nurse and Social Worker over many decades, I am most interested in the role as a Therapist in that the relationship of the client with the therapist can often provide a catalyst for growth, change and healing within that context of that one to one connection within a supportive environment.
I am familiar with many diagnostic conditions and psychosocial challenges including bipolar disorders, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorder, trauma, schizophrenia/affective disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, sexual identity/transitioning, homelessness, domestic violence, loss issues, abuse/neglect, chronic mental health and chronic physical health/disability issues.
Experience in working in many settings including community based, institutional, schools, courts, DCF/DMH and home based has expanded my knowledge and skills in advocating for my clients exponentially.
I enjoy working with adults of all ages and children in middle school through college, also those that are court/school/provider referred and will assist finding clients a prescriber if needed.
I am a graduate of Bridgewater State College and Curry College in MA and licensed as a LMHC, LSW and RN.
The journey to mental health involves many components and it is my privilege to share that process to seek equilibrium within one’s growth, development and awareness incorporating an eclectic array of approaches with a person centered approach.
